NOTD - Faces Canada Ultime Pro Sand Coat Nail Enamel - Citrus Pie

You know whenever I get to watch Hangover - Part I , it has always been a laugh riot. Oh God! every time I watch it I just feel awesomely great!

And I just love Allan! The way he carries his man purse. Oops it's a satchel..hehe thats what he says..and he wears it because Indian Jones wear it too :P . I mean, I feel Allan a.k.a Zach Galifianakis is one of the finest actor on earth today. He is cucking frazy awesomely great actor! :D

Anyway , today my post is about the nail that I am sporting. It came to us as a sample from our client as we were developing a promotional material for the same. It is the recently launched nail paint from Faces Canada - Ultime Pro Sand Coat. It is a part of the brand's professional range Ultime Pro.

The Sand Coat range has 8 beautiful sand textured shades - 4 solid shades and 4 glittery shade. Today I am wearing the shade Citrus Pie.

The Price is INR 399 and it is totally worth it girls!

Citrus Pie is an orangish glittery shade with little gold shimmer to it. The best part is it shows up different color in different lighting. In dim light it is a faint orange with gold shimmer & in bright light it is a bright coralish orange. Just cannot express in words how beautiful it looks.

Just to inform the bottle I have held is not the actual bottle. It is just for us to sample the product. It comes in similar type of bottle as Ultime Pro Nail Lacquer.

It is long lasting and does not chips off for a good one week.

The texture is as mentioned in the name itself Sandy. The rough glittery particles gives your nails a great look and your nails look international.

Also it is like your own nail art. Just one coat and you are done!

The bad part is I have to wait for a minute to see the effect coming on to my nails after it dries up.

A close look how the texture actually is...

Have you used the new Sand Coat from Faces? Let me know...

*It was a sample sent by client for official purposes and by no means I am trying to promote the brand and the brand has not asked or paid me for the post. My reviews are honest and unbiased.

Maybelline ColorShow Nail Paint - Nude Skin Review

Hi All,

Sorry I was away from my blog the past week. The reason being my "itne saalo ka sathi" , my pyara laptop ditched me and suddenly stopped working. I tried fixing it, but Delhi/ NCR is seriously so expensive dude!

Anyway I have decided I will mend it when I visit my city of Joy, My Kolkata. Till then I am like "Kaam Chalao" with my office lappy. :D

Today I am going to review my current favorite nail paint range from Maybelline - ColorShow in the shade Nude Skin.

I am kinda going all nude makeup products these days. God knows what happened to me.

Anyway, I remember when I was a kid & when I was not much into makeup & its alleys I used to go ga-ga when somebody used to apply "Jhatak" nail paints. I used to adore all those which were "Jhatak". And I used to literally hate these colors, discarding them as "aged-woman color". :P

But now I can well understand what a warm color it is..it is nude..it is classy...and it is posh...

The Maybelline ColorShow Nude Skin is one such color which has just blown me over...both by its payoff and ofcourse who does not know about the incredible low price - INR 75 only :D

It is nice milky brown color- in which milk is mixed maximum :P. Two coat is enough for me to get my nails covered. I have noticed ColorShow nail paints have different chip offs timing. One chips off within 3 days and one takes days for the same. This one like stays on me for a good 6 days at a stretch and then slowly it starts fading.

Maybelline ColorShow Nude Skin

It is glossy and a top coat would make it more glossier and glamorous.

I have also reviewed some nail paints from the range in the past- Shocking seas (READ HERE) , Chrome Pink & Kiss me Pink (READ HERE)

I usually wear this shade to my work, during meetings and yes when I am heavy on my face makeup something needs to be subtle - so this one.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Paints- Chrome Pink and Kiss Me Pink

Hi Ladies,

Today's menu is the wonderful, the vivacious, the extraordinarily priced and the beautiful Maybelline Color Show Nail Paints in Chrome Pink and Kiss Me Pink.

Thought of just expressing my love for these cuties in a dramatic way, thus is the introduction.

However, these two are from the cute little pink family of colors. While the former one has a metallic finish to it , the later one is a dark "Rani Pink" with a very little shimmer. Both are glossy and absolutely adorable. Trust me!

And the price as you all know ...Rs 75 only (Wide grin)

Previously I have reviewed Shocking Seas. (Read review HERE)

Chrome Pink:

Haul Post - Deborah, Maybelline & Colorbar

Yooo I am so happy today!  :D

And also a bit sad! :(

First the happy part...I bought so many cosmetics today and the sad part is it left behind a huge hole in my wallet..uhuhuuhu...anyway I can sacrifice that much.

Actually I was searching for a good and not so expensive foundation for regular office wear apart from the usual BB cream that I use. Then I thought why not get a gel eye liner, then why not get a new lippie...bass aur kya...I decided that "Cummon lets go for cosmetics shopping"..

And fortunately the store was on SALE. I saved around  Rs 350 on my whole purchase.

I bought a Deborah Milano 24ORE Perfect Foundation. The actual cost was INR 1020 but I got it for  INR 816

I got hold of Deborah Milano Red Lipstick in the shade 11, a kinda reddish orange and I am just loving it. It costs me INR 556 instead of INR 695

I got two Maybelline Color Show nail paint in Lavender Lies and Bold Gold (It was an impulse pick up )

Also bought Colorbar Perfect Match Face Primer, Maybelline New Lasting Drama Gel Liner.

The Primer was priced at INR 825, but I guess what I got a Colorbar Nail Paint worth INR 150 in wine purple color for free...yaayyyyy!!

The New 36 HR Maybelline gel liner was a oomphh INR 450.

Anyway though I spent a lot , but I am a happy girl now....

Target for the month of February already set (wink wink)

Let me know how did you find my haul guys...

Maybelline Color Show Nail Paint - Shocking Seas

Hello ladies!!

I am back!!

I went hibernating for few days as I was sooo decked up with work that I could hardly make out time for my love- my blog!!  :-(

well that should not be an excuse to ignore my love..I know..I had figured out how to carry on with my love, so here I am, all re-structured and with revamped energy..and soon you will be seeing some changes in the blog.

That is it on my "Pareshani" part. Back to my love please  :D

As we all know that Maybelline has made the impossible POSSIBLE. the whole blogging world is raving about the it and every one else. Maybelline New York has launched their international range of nail paints in India COLOR SHOW. And the best part it it contains 40 odd shades to choose from. Can you imagine it? It is just woowwwwwwwww!!  I personally have fallen in love with the shades. And have already bought 6 nail paints in one go. And I have full confident on myself that I am going to buy more soon.

Price

Yes this is the part which I am just dying to tell everybody. Each of the paints is priced at only Rs 75/-
Double Wowwwwwwwwww!!

My experience

Today the shade I have chosen is Shocking Seas. It is a fact that Maybelline does have some great color palette which are to die for. This Nail paint is just perfect and I do not know whether people will believe or not but after application my nails look like as if I have put on an indigo sky on my nails. So you can imagine ladies that how next to perfection it is and it definitely justifies the shade name.

The color does not chip off from my nails for 5 days at a stretch. Not sure though how long it it stays on other's nails. Also, I need 3 coats to get full coverage and the desired finish. Other wise it is a greattt greatt greatt product. I will come up with more new shades of the palette soon.

And yes ofcourse I will definitely ask all you ladies to use a base coat when applying any nail lacquer or else your nails will turn yellow..Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow!!  :P

Pros

1. 40 different shades to die for
2. Great affordable price
3. Does Not chip off

Cons

1. Need 3-4 coats for full coverage (That is it  :D)

Rating

4/5

Will I re-buy?

Of course. I already bought 6 of them. Looking forward to buy all 40 soon  :D

Do tell me what is your shade pick from the color show range
