Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner - 36 Hr formula : Review, Price, Swatch

Hi Everyone!

Does it happen to everybody that you think you will do all sorts of pending work during weekends and then in the weekends you just feel you could relax through out and not do any work?  :(

I had so many reviews to put up but somehow work takes a toll on me during weekdays and I sleep through out weekend :P

Anyway today our star product for review is The Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner - 36 Hour formula.

I was supposed to get this gel eyeliner way before when it had a 24 hr formulation but then I got to know that soon the new formulation was supposed to hit the market, so I refrained back and decided to wait for sometime. Then I got this one and this one is my first gel eyeliner.

Price

It is priced at INR 450. You can buy it HERE

My Experience

It is my first gel eyeliner and at first it was a little uncomfortable for me to line my eyes but I got used to it now. It comes with a liner brush which seems a good one and till now no bristles fell off  after repeated washes.

The texture of the gel is smooth and it glides very easily on the lids. It is a genuine blackity black color and stays on like forever. Very rightly pitched at transfer-proof , smudge-proof and water-proof.

It does not go off even after putting it under running water. :D

I just hope it does not dries up soon. One can easily line her eyes with it and I am sure it will be apt for doing a great winged eyeliner. :D

The pigmentation is great as you can see in my EOTD below. It does not even bother my eyes and is safe to use.

I will just crib about one thing...I mean the price placed against the quantity I get in that small tub is just not perfect. :(

Maybelline Clear Glow BB Cream in 01 Nude: Review & Swatches

Hi Lovely Ladies!

Wish you all a very Happy Tuesday ( Bass Awehi mann kia  :D)

Its been a year that I am using this product which is actually my first BB cream and which is actually kind of cool!

People and bloggers all over the world and India have written a lot about the product , and after finishing up 3 tubes I am here to share my views on it :P I am late you are saying? So what, it is always good to go back to basics right!!  *wink wink*

So here I am with the Maybelline New York Clear Glow Bright Benefit (BB) Cream.

There are so many BB creams in the market, and trust me although being in the same industry and working on a cosmetic brand, I still have not figured out what does BB actually stands for. Some call it Bright Benefit, some Beauty Balm, some Blemish Balm and what not. Pheww!!

Anyway Whats in a name right! I should concentrate on the work it does to my skin.

According to Maybelline it is bright benefit cream which is a moisturizer along with a bit of tint and has micro minerals. It is a 8-in-1 Skin transformer what they say. It evens out skin tone, brightens, protects , hydrates, freshen, smoothes, clarifies and conceals. It also has SPF 21.

It is priced at INR 199. Well the price is good. But if you compare with the amount of product Garnier BB cream has with the same price point, Maybelline one is a little disappointing. (a lil haan).

Experience

Well as far as my experience goes, I am in total love with the BB cream. This is my 4th tube and I love every bit of it. It is not heavy on my skin, and it definitely works as a light foundation during day time. I had also once stopped using Sunscreen as this one was good enough a cream which comes with SPF 21.

It conceals my little under eye flaws, and covers it. I am not sure of the brightening part though. It definitely was not dry and was quite a bit moisturizing but yes in winters I need a face lotion before using this.

As far as the shade is concerned, it comes in 3 shades. Nude suits me the most. It matches my skin tone and does not look cakey or fake at all. It just blends with my skin very well. Nude is one such shade which is a close match to a skin color.

The texture of the cream is not runny at all and it gives quite an impressive coverage to my face. All in all I am happy with this BB. It is cheap, it is easily available and it does what it claims. Totally Recommended!

Maybelline Baby Lips Berry Crush : Review

Hi Everyone!

Hope your sunday is going great with  fun and frolic!

I am just chilling out at home, running through some pages of my favorite books. The PP is a little busy these days, so cannot bother him right now with my sweet tantrums :P. So kinda into a reading mood :D

Well, today I have a product from Maybelline which is a wonder lip balm. The product has been reviewed multiple number of times by thousands of people, bloggers and is a much raved product all over.

The wonder baby is known as Maybelline Baby Lips Berry Crush.

The price is affordable for anybody , Just INR 150.

I mean a lip balm which is too great a product for your lips at this price is a miracle! Thanks to the Maybelline family.

The lip balm comes in a sleek cylinder with a twist up or what we say retractable bullet.

When I first bought it, it used to give out fresh smell of berry, but now after so many days the smell has evaporated :P

As a product, I am completely in love with it. It makes my lift soft and supple and provides total moisturization for 4-5 hrs at a stretch. On days when I am in a no lipstick mood, I wear this sweet little baby on my lips and I am good to go.

The lip balm has a sheer pinkish tint in it which makes it wearable in day time too and my lips do not look that it has been devoid of lipstick. In short it makes my lip looks like as if I am wearing a lipstick and it also makes my lip smooth.

The texture of the balm is very light and not sticky at all. It takes care of my lips both in summer and winter.

Very soon the one I have will be over and I am going to buy more of these sweeties! I  might also go through their other variants too of the Baby lips.

I strongly recommend this one to all. It is something that everyone should carry everyday to everywhere like me :D

Maybelline New York Diamond Glow Eye Shadow -Gray Pink : Review

Hi everyone!

Every girl wants to look good always but in a pocket friendly way. We all want to have products which make us look good, does its work and yet which is budget friendly.

Today I have one such Budget eyeshadow from the Maybelline New York kitty. It is an eye shadow quad which means you pay for one and get four at a time Superrr!!

It is the Maybelline New York Diamond Glow Eye Shadow in Gray Pink.

Every Girl wants to highlight their eyes and wants to look gorgeous. This eye shadow has four shadows. One for highlighting, one to use on the crease, one on the lid and the other at the corners and lash line. It is a complete package towards a great eye do-up.

The Price of the eye shadow quad is INR 475.

It comes in four shades as you can see- starting from left to right - a silver white shiny shade, sparkly pink, shimmery grayish silver and sparky shimmery black.

If you notice, you can see all the shades are full of shimmer and is chalky. There is a lot of fall offs when I try applying it.

The white silver is for highlighting brow bones, inner corners, pink is for the eye lid, the gray is for the crease and the black can be used on the lash lines and outer corners. It has well specified at the back of the pack.

The pay off the shadow is decent with a wear time of 3-4 hrs maximum. After that it starts to fade. Try Use a primer base, it might then stay a bit longer I hope. Well, at this price I think it is good to go. But I wish Maybelline had given a thought on the pigmentation more.

It is not highly pigmented nor it is under pigmented. It is just Ok.

Also, I feel this particular quad is not great for dusky beauties. It has all shimmers and sparkles. This might suit the fair skin beauties.

Also, I am not happy with the brush that comes along. It is not a professional brush at all. Every time I try using it it seems the sponge will come out. :(
