Today I have a new launch from Sunsilk for review... The Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner

The shampoo is priced at INR 132 and conditioner is INR 65 (as far as I could remember)

What the brand says

It contains ginseng root and oil. It nourishes hair from root to tip for thicker , fuller and 5 x stronger hair. It is paraben free shampoo. It gives naturally bouncy hair. Nourishes & strengthens hair from root to tips. Revitalizes & enhances volume for hair full of life.

My experience

I will start off with the most impressive thing - Paraben Free. I had always shy-ed away from Sunsilk shampoos due to this factor, but not any more. I am totally impressed with the formulation.

It is one of a kind shampoo and conditioner that Sunsilk has launched which stands tall to what it claims at such an affordable price.

The shampoo lathers very well and very fast. A little amount gives so much froth which makes me wonder that it has SLES. I do not have problem with that. Without that not shampoo is complete. The shampoo cleans my hair and scalp and makes my hair come alive post drying.

The conditioner is effective too and makes the hair silky soft.

Both these products when applied together gives my hair volume and shine. It somehow takes away the dullness of my hair and makes it super soft. Honestly I love touching my hair when I use this product combo.

I even like the green packaging. It has a flip open cap and is very handy. Strong and sturdy all I will say.

Puro Body and Soul Lip Balm in Orange Fanta : Review

And I also got my lovely blue maxi dress today. I must say it is gorgeous! Very soon I am going to do an outfit post.

Anyway today I am going to review a lip balm from an Indian brand Puro Body and Soul in Orange Fanta flavor.

It is a brand, that is purely vegetarian and is cruelty free. You can shop the products from www.vegetarianshop.in 

The price of the balm is INR 95

The lip balm comes in a generic lip balm tub packaging with screw cap.The color of the balm is bright orange and it gives out a fruity orange smell. Have you ever smelt orange ice cream that is only made up of ice and covered with orange syrup? It is of the same fragrance. The smell ofcourse vanishes when you start applying.

The balm on the whole has a gel like texture and is  very heavy on lips. So I use it in the night and not wear it to work or outside.

The name orange fanta is so apt. It is indeed a fanta product :P

When I get up in the morning I get really smooth and pink lips. The balm works miraculously! I just love it.

The best part is , it is completely herbal and is not animal tested.

I quite like it!

Whenever we come across the brand Johnon & Johnson either in cosmetic stores or in television commercials we promptly say the word “Awww” and wish for a baby soft clear skin.  Our family swears by J7J products and my family religiously use J&J’s talcum power, cream and even their soap. I never had the problem of pimples but due to excessive oily skin no face wash has come to my rescue. So finally, when I visited our local drugstore two months back, I found this face wash Clean & Clear Foaming Face Wash  and  quickly grabbed it but took the smaller bottle with the  thought to first give it a try.

The product claims

CLEAN & CLEAR^® ESSENTIALS Foaming Facial Cleanser is for everyday use and cleans skin and washes away problem-causing dirt, oil, and make-up to help skin stay clean and healthy. The rich lather is oil-free and gently removes dirt and oil without over-drying and leaves skin clean and refreshed.

Also, its mentioned the product is for non-sensitive skin type.

Packacking

It comes in a simple looking stout and sturdy ‘D’- shaped transparent orange coloured plastic bottle  with a screw cap and a flip cover. It is travel friendly as the flip top cover closes off tightly and there’s no fear of spill over.

Ingredients

Inactive: Water, Triethanolamine, Myristic Acid, C9-15 Alkyl Phosphate, Lauric Acid, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Methylparaben, BHT, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben, Red 4, Yellow 10

How Do I Use It:

Squeeze a small amount, little more than a pee-size on wet palm or you can wet your face and apply it directly on the face. Gently massage it all over face. Rinse off thoroughly. It cleans off eye light up eye makeup too. But I would recommend you to first remove your eye make-up and use the product.

My Experinece with Clean and Clear Foaming Face Wash

I love the mild fragrance and the face wash is transparent so no fear of getting stains in your clothes if you drop it on your attire accidentally.  It gives an instant glow in my face and though the product claims it is for non-sensitive skin, my face id not break down even once. It brightens my face and makes me feel so fresh. I have been using it religiously for the past two months and it did not break out even once. I love this face wash. I follow it up with a toner and a sunscreen during the day and a a moisturizer during night.

I will surely recommend the product to ladies and even the handsome men who are blessed with excessive oily skin. But never forget to use a toner nd a moisturizer after you use the product. I will surely but it again, at least for the coming two three months where we are going to get boiled :D
